Posted by: AgendasSOS   in Rambles, Facts

Trend studies have shown that two out of every seven people in the world will have a personal computer by 2015. This will account to more than 2 billion personal computers being used around the Globe. Among the countries, India, China, Russia and Brazil are emerging as the faster growing personal computer markets in the world.

According to Forrester, a global research firm, there are two main reasons for such a fast growth of PC market. One is the decrease in the price of Personal Computers and the second reason being that people are increasingly becoming more and more technology conscious. They also added that there will be more than 1 billion PC in used by the end of 2008, while the rapid growth of the PC market worldwide will take the number to another billion by the end of 2015, making an overall 2 billion figure!

The fours rapidly emerging countries, India, China, Russia and Brazil will account for nearly 775 million new PCs by 2015. At present India has over 22 million Personal computers, that is about 1 PC for every 50 people across the country.
