Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer occurs in individuals who are exposed to asbestos. It is a serious cancer of the mesothelial membranes that surround many of the body’s vital organs. The mesothelial lining protects the lungs, heart and stomach by secreting a lubricating fluid that allows easy movement of these organs.
