File recovering

   Posted by: AgendasSOS   in Facts

I just read an article file recovery system in Digit Magazine and I am amazed to know many new things that I hardly could guess myself. Well, what the guys in the study did was that, they bought some used hard drive from eBay and ran it through a file recovery system. To my amazement, the hard drive which was previously empty came up with many sensitive personal and business documents! Of course, those guys did it as a part of their study, so no need to worry. But what is important here is the security of the files that were once stored in a drive which can potentially be sold in a later months!

Well, these guys also bought some used pen drives and camera memory cards and they have recovered from them, some very personal photographs which otherwise the owner must not have revealed to anyone! That’s quite scary, isn’t it? Well, you don’t need to be scared much though, because we still have many File Shredder Software to our reach. So, when you plan to sell any memory drive to anyone, don’t forget to run a good file shredder on it. Otherwise, anything can come up from it!

Marketing secrets from forum posts

Posted by: AgendasSOS   in Affiliate, Useful Info, Facts

I just found out a great way of finding out how other successful internet marketers really do to get to the point where they are right now. I realize how to know secrets, at least some of them, if not all. The method is using forum discussions.

Well, I will just narrate briefly what I found out today. The rest, I will write in detail, maybe in a e-book. So, what exactly happened was that I came across a forum post made by a person who claimed that he is earning about $6000 per month from affiliate marketing alone. Someone below him then asked what his secrets were but there were no more post from that person in that thread.

I wanted to find out how he actually did it and so I click on the profile and checked all the post made by him. I started looking at his oldest post and some of these posts really surprised me. In a few posts made by him 4 months back, he was asking if it is easy to earn $500 per month through affiliate marketing. Then some of his posts made a few weeks later showed that he was now able to earn $300 per month from affiliate marketing alone. He was saying in one of his post that time that he is using myspace marketing techniques to generate that amount of sales. Later I also found some other posts by him emphasizing on myspace marketing and so I was able to guess what actually he must have done in order to generate about $6000 per month in just a matter of 4 months.

So, I just wanted to say, you can learn a lot about marketers if you study their forum posts right from the day when he was just a beginner like you and me. I will write a report on this soon. So, keep checking back!

Posted by: AgendasSOS   in Rambles, Facts

Trend studies have shown that two out of every seven people in the world will have a personal computer by 2015. This will account to more than 2 billion personal computers being used around the Globe. Among the countries, India, China, Russia and Brazil are emerging as the faster growing personal computer markets in the world.

According to Forrester, a global research firm, there are two main reasons for such a fast growth of PC market.    Posted by: AgendasSOS   in Facts, Miscellaneous

VSNL, the Tata group controlled company is setting up 2000 new base stations and all these stations will be Wi-Max powered for fast internet access. VSNL is investing more than Rs.450 crore over the next two years. These 2000 stations will spread all over the country, mainly in the five major metropolitan cities in the first phase of the project. By the time the project is completed, VSNL will already have Wi-Max base station in over 120 cities across the country.

VSNL is one of the leading bandwidth provider in the country today. The new project is estimated to cover even outskirt city areas with fast internet connectivity. The company has already started it’s first phase installations a couple of month back in Bangalore. With the new Wi-Max facility, it has launched a commercial service there. The company will soon launch its commercial service in Mumbai and Delhi in the coming couple of month.

According to company officials, VSNL will start with fixed wireless internet service. This service is similar to the fixed wireless telephone service provided by telecom companies. The end users will be required to install certain equipments into their premises. The equipment is much like a modem so, it cannot be conveniently used with laptops or other portable devices. With the new Wi-Max coverage, VSNL will be able to bypass state-owned players like the MTNL and BSNL which nearly have monopolised the last mile connectivity through their national wireline networks.

Adwords Vouchers

Posted by: AgendasSOS   in Marketing, Facts, Internet

I have been searching to get adwords vouchers since a few days back but I am not able to get a good one myself. I have seen some people in forums selling $50 adwords voucher for about $5 to $15 and I wonder how these people are getting all these vouchers. They are actually selling a number of vouchers at a time and there must be some way to get them.

I tried signing up with different links that appear in certain adwords voucher tips pages but I am not able to get the bonus credit. Maybe because I have used the same credit card or maybe because the link is not working for my country. I have heard that certain sign up links work for one country and they don’t for other countries. Or is there any other thing that I missed while signing up that is messing up and I am not getting the credits.

Well, I am writing this on my blog because I want to get some comments from my readers if they find any good way to get adwords vouchers. I have heard about the adwords-voucher.com but I am still thinking if I should buy that ebook. If anyone can give me some recommendations from their real experience about any adwords voucher ebook or tips, I will love to get my hands on them. Hope I will get some response soon :)

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

Posted by: AgendasSOS   in Techy, Facts, Miscellaneous

Electronic Data Interchange is a method of computer to computer exchange of various information. While many people know of the internet and the World Wide Web as communication methods, the electronic data interchange is much similar to that allowing the transfer of data from one place to the next with very minimal need for people to get involved.

The Electronic Data Interchange is well regulated today. It offers specific interchange methods that transpire overseas and nationally as standard bodies when it comes to moving information and business transactions from one place to the next. For example, this is the most common form of communication in the process of purchasing goods and services. Communication for the location to the financial institution to deliver a message of the amount of funds required, in this case, is what data will be transferred.

In most cases, the information that is transmitted in an electronic data interchange is done so that companies can communicate. They can provide information to allow business transactions or the passage of very important information. For example, in the healthcare industry they can be used to help communicate through the network about a patient allowing for a faster method of receiving information. This technology is still being developed in many areas, though.

In fact, more and more so, people are turning to Electronic Data Interchange as their means of communication especially with more people turning to the Internet. The Electronic-Data-Interchange allows for networks of all sorts to communicate and this is helping ecommerce as a great way for companies to buy, sell or trade information and services. In fact, ANSI has just approved a set of Electronic-Data-Interchange standards. They are known as the X12 standards. Nonetheless, you will see more and more people using them because more and more people are getting online to do just these things.

Podcasting Solution

Posted by: AgendasSOS   in Blogging, Useful Info, Tips, Facts, Internet

For anyone who wants to begin creating a podcast, podcast hosting is the most important part. Before anyone can begin distributing a podcast, they need a place to store the files and keep the feed file that will tell their subscribers about the new episodes available. The first thing required is a domain name where the site will be located. Many domain registrars are available who will help one register a domain name for a small fee. Once the domain is registered, hosting is required, and again there are many different companies willing to do the hosting for a small fee. One of those is bluehost.com, but many others are available. When looking for a host, the most important thing is to make sure that a lot bandwidth and storage space is available and cheap. Since podcasting deals with large media files, a lot of disk space will be taken up storing the files and bandwidth will be eaten quickly when they are downloaded by the subscribers.

After podcast hosting has been acquired, it needs to be used and the site needs to be set up. The DNS addresses of the site need to be set to the addresses that the host provides you so that the servers that underlie the internet will know where your site is. DNS addresses can be set by going to the domain registrar that was used to acquire the domain and inputting the addresses provided by the host. After that is done, it will take a few days before the master list the domain registar updates will be shared throughout the internet and all name servers know where to find your specific domain. You can then go about setting up your own podcast.

Using the podcast hosting you now have, you will need to look at the disk space allocated to the site using something called and FTP browser. The host may provide one as part of their hosting plan, but if not there are many available free to choose from. Using the FTP browser, log on to the host and upload a file called dircaster.php after editing it to fit the specifics of the site. Dircaster.php is an easy to find piece of coding that generates a feed file by looking at the contents of its directory or folder. The individual episodes to be podcasted can then be uploaded to the same folder as dircaster.php for cataloging. Make sure that all the meta data, or information about the mp3 file is correct before doing so.

The podcast hosting you now have will allow you to distribute a podcast. It would be best to upload more to the site, such as an index page that tells visitors about the podcast and provides the address of the file dircaster.php on your site. When they subscribe to that file, the podcast client thy use will access it and recieve information about the latest podcasts available.
